Singer Pink belted out a special tribute to Judy Garland at the Academy Awards last night going big with a rendition of “Over the Rainbow” from Garland’s classic 1939 movie “The Wizard of Oz.”

Pink, real name Alecia Beth Moore, has one of the biggest and most versatile voices in music.

Although the 34-year-old singer is known for her physicality and acrobatic performances, she was all glamour when she took the stage at the Dolby Theatre last night (Feb 2) in Hollywood.

Garland’s children, Liza Minnelli, Lorna Luft and Joey Luft were in the audience for the 86th Academy Awards to celebrate their late-mother’s career.

Pink has her own connection to Hollywood as an actress. She appeared in “Thanks for Sharing,” a 2012 comedy-drama directed by Stuart Blumberg from a screenplay he co-wrote with Matt Winston.

The film starred Mark Ruffalo, Tim Robbins, Gwyneth Paltrow, Josh Gad and Joely Richardson.
