Johnny Depp’s ex-partner Vanessa Paradis made a rare appearance at the Forum in London yesterday (June 21) for a concert part of her effort to jump-start her career.
Pardis, 41, was became a child star, at 14, in France when she released a single “Joe le taxi,” in 1987. It became a No. 1 hit.
Her uncle, a record producer, encouraged her singing career and she later expanding into modeling and acting. She’s been the face of Chanel since 1991.
But Paradis largely put her career on hold when she started in a relationship with Depp that would last for 14 years and two children. They broke up officially in June 2012. Depp is now engaged to actress Amber Heard and Vanessa is seeing French singer Benjamin Biolay.
