Train Classic Rock Rolls Through NYC’s Radio City Music Hall (See!)

Train, the Grammy winning 1990s blues and rock band, brought their melodic and visceral sound to Radio City Music Hall in New York City last night (Sept. 25) as part of the band’s tour in support of its new album Bulletproof PicassoTrain Classic Rock Rolls Through NYC's Radio City Music Hall (See!) 1.

The concert featured the band’s new single “Angel In Blue Jeans” from their seventh studio album, which hit the streets last week.

Frontman Pat Monahan also led the band through a number of its classics. He was backed by Jimmy Stafford on lead guitar, Jerry Becker, rhythm guitar and piano, Hector Maldonado, bass and Drew Shoals on drums.

The group has sold more than 10 million albums and 30 million tracks worldwide since launching in 1998 with their self-titled debut album TrainTrain Classic Rock Rolls Through NYC's Radio City Music Hall (See!) 2. Their work has earned them three Grammy awards and eight nominations.

The previous album, 2012’s California 37Train Classic Rock Rolls Through NYC's Radio City Music Hall (See!) 3 included the hit “Drive By,” which went multi-platinum and reached the Top 10 in 13 countries, according to the band’s bio.

Train set-list included Grammy winning classic “Drops Of Jupiter (Tell Me),” the chart-topping “Meet Virginia,” and “Calling All Angels.”

The band snagged another Grammy in 2011 for their global smash “Hey Soul Sister,” the No 1 hit and biggest selling single of 2010. The song appeared on their 2009 multi-platinum album, Save Me, San FranciscoTrain Classic Rock Rolls Through NYC's Radio City Music Hall (See!) 4.
