Cardi B heads for the desert in her new video for her song “Be Careful.” The Southwestern scenes evoke the feel of a spaghetti western and the drama is just as high. It’s a hot shoot (literally).
The rapper goes from a wedding to a funeral in a small chapel as she spits about a cheating husband who disrespects her.
“It was one of the hardest videos I ever did because it was in the desert, like in the middle of nowhere, and bitch I was so hot,” Cardi wrote on social media.
“My pregnant motherf*ckin’ ass. I never sweat, and I was sweatin’ that day, like my underarm was sweating, under my ti*ties. I never get under ti*ty sweat, but that day, for sure,” she added.
Too much disclosure? Maybe, but Cardi, real name Belcalis Almanzar, is known for her “no filter” attitude and telling it like it is.
She launched her career as a regular cast member on the VH1 reality series “Love & Hip Hop: New York from 2015 to 2017, which led to a major label deal with Atlantic records.
Her debut studio album Invasion of Privacy (2018) hit No. 1 on album charts as soon as it was released.
Time magazine named the rapper one of the 100 most influential people in the world for 2018.
