Rihanna Previews New Album Single You Da One (listen!)

Rihanna Previews New Album Single You Da One (listen!) 1Rihanna is getting a jump on the Christmas rush of new albums by premiering the second single off her upcoming released, titled “You Da One.” She previewed the song this weekend and talked about her career in a new interview.

The Barbadian singer’s overt sexuality causes a storm almost wherever she goes, but she made clear that she doesn’t want to be a freak show.

“It’s all about the music. I don’t want to become a gimmick, ever,” she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, “On Air with Ryan Seacrest.”

Rihanna played the song for Seacrest, and it was also released to Clear Channel radio stations on Friday (Nov. 11)

“We Found Love,” featuring Calvin Harris was the first release from the studio album.

The Dr. Luke produced “You Da One” is “one of those records that became very addictive for me,” she told Seacrest.

“I could not stop listening to this song. It’s very infectious. It’s a sweet little love letter. I love that it has that reggae vibe, but it also has that little bit of dubstep. It’s kind of dirty. I love it.”

Rihanna has been working overtime, touring in Europe and apparently partying a little too hard.

She called off her second show in three days last week, after reps claimed she was suffering from exhaustion and a bout of the flu.

She tweeted a shocking photo of herself hooked up to an IV drip in a hospital in Sweden, while tweeting her apologies for canceling a show.

Tabloids overseas suggested that Rihanna has been drinking and partying heavily until all hours at clubs after her shows.

In fact, the singer phoned in her Seacrest interview from a bus in Belgium, where she had a show scheduled Friday.

“My immune system got a little weak, so I got sick … but I’m a lot better now,” she acknowledged to Seacrest.

The album, which also features Jay-Z, is going to be more low-key than her previous release Loud.
“I kind of just wanted to scale back, instead of having a look,” she explains to the “American Idol” host.

“I didn’t want to make it such a big deal, like what hair color. I wanted to go back to something simple, something flexible; something a little more natural,” she said.
