Avril Lavigne moves in for the kiss with Danica McKellar in her new video for song Rock N Roll.

Avril Lavigne wants you to know rock and roll isn’t dead and she’s rock’s “mother fu*king queen” in the new video for her comeback rock song. She’s in full rebellion, including a little girl-on-girl action with Danica McKellar. ‘Memba her?

McKellar starred as the too-cute Winnie Cooper in the ABC sitcom “Wonder Years,” from 1988 through 1993. So, yeah, you could say Avril is dating herself a little bit.

The 28-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter actually shot to fame in 2000, well after the series had ended its run, although it was still airing in syndication. Lavigne was the voice of the high-school skater boy slackers.

Her debut album, Let Go, was released in June 2002 and become a major hit, with No. 1 tunes like “Complicated.” She got married young, took time off and had a baby and returned to the music scene in 2009 following her divorce, with a new sound But the album, Goodbye Lullaby, flopped.

So now Lavigne has gone back to her rock and roll roots. The video combines elements of fantasy adventure and comic book heroes. Lavigne opens it in sexy combat fatigues and goes to war against rock and roll haters.

Footnote: You’ll have to stomach a commercial featuring Lavigne hawking Sony mobile phones before the video starts. She may be a rock and roll rebel but she’s still a sellout. It’s so un-rock and roll, but, then, who isn’t
