Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter Jr.
- July 2007: Carter was arrested in New York City and charged with marijuana possession and possession of an illegal handgun. He was sentenced to a year in jail in Rikers Island Prison.
- Oct. 2007: Carter was arrested on felony fugitive charges after Georgia authorities accused him of possessing a controlled substance. The charges were later dropped.
- Jan. 2008: Carter was charged with four felonies: possession of narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia. He pleaded guilty and served 36 months probation.
