Trey Parker and Matt Stone know a thing or two about Broadway and they have let South Park viewers in on a dirty little secret that should have guys flocking to theaters with their gals.
It’s all about subtext. In the latest episode of the ribald cartoon show, Parker and Stone show how every Broadway show is designed to excite women to perform oral sex.
Robert Lopez, who collaborated with the South Park duo to create the Tony Award winning show The Book of Mormon co-wrote last night’s episode.
Leading Broadway shows like Wicked and The Phantom of the Opera were lampooned in the episode for engaging in subtext, the subliminal art of suggestion, written between the lines of major Broadway show tunes.
