Daniel Craig is making his return to Broadway and this time he’ll star with his wife Rachel Weisz. They’re set to appear in Harold Pinter’s 1978 play Betrayal about adultery and deceit involving best friends.

Craig, 45, last appeared on Broadway in 2009 when he starred with Huge Jackman in a limited engagement for the play A Steady Rain at the Schoenfeld Theatre.

He won critical raves for his performance and the show entered Broadway lore when Jackman scolded an audience member for allow his cell phone to ring during the performance without breaking character.

Weisz, 43, who most recently starred in “Oz The Great and Powerful” as one of the wicked witches, has solid theater credentials, although this is her Broadway debut.

She received the Student Drama Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1991 her part in the play Slight Possession. She went on to appear in Design for Living on the London stage and won a newcomer award from the London Critics’ Circle. She was also named best actress for her role as Blanche Dubois in a revival of A Streetcar Named Desire.

The play is based on Pinter’s own extramarital affair with BBC Television personality Joan Bakewell. Emma, who is married to Robert has an affair with Robert’s “close friend” Jerry.

It debuted at the National Theatre in London in 1978 and made its way to Broadway for the first time in 1980. Raul Julia played Jerry, Blythe Danner played Emma and Roy Scheider was Robert. It ran for 170 performances and was revived in 2000.

Weisz and Craig began dating in December 2010 and married on 22 June 2011 in a private New York City ceremony.

The production will begin previews at the Barrymore Theatre on Oct. 1, with an official opening on Nov. 3, according to The Associated Press.
