The event raised money for the Frog & Peach Theatre Company.
The reading also included Ian McDonald’s original score.
The gala will help fund the theatre company’s upcoming production of Hamlet. They play will run Oct. 17 through Nov. 10 at The West End Theatre.
Frog & Peach is known for bringing all of the excitement and intrigue of Shakespeare’s plays to modern audiences in an accessible, entertaining way.

Proceeds from their productions support free and discounted tickets to main stage productions for under-served public school students in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx.
The reading of Twelfth Night featured members of the esteemed theatre company, including Amy Frances Quint, Kaitlin Large, Ryan Tramont, Brando Boniver, Stephen Siano and Jonathan Reed Wexler.
Hamlet, directed by Lynnea Benson, will be staged as a Scandinavian detective thriller. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are re-imagined as women.
It will run in repertory with “Tinkerbell Theater,” which adapts fairy tales to theater and features sing-along songs and puppets.
