Orlando Bloom and wife Amanda Kerr last appeared happily married together on Sept. 19 at the opening of his Broadway show, Romeo & Juliet. What Kerr didn’t know, at the time, was a love affair was blooming between her husband and his co-star Condola Rashād.

Bloom 36, and his wife of three years split officially earlier this month.

“After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation,” a rep said on Thursday (Oct. 24). “Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.”

Within days, Bloom was linked to Rashād in the tabloids. He’s playing Romeo to her Juliet on stage and now apparently in real life. Indeed, they have been gushing all over each other in interviews.

“We sometimes get applause after our first kiss because it just goes on and on,” Bloom said in a recent interview. “Sometimes I’m like, ‘I’m not letting go.'”

“What’s funny is we didn’t have to force it,” Rashād added. “We had a connection from the minute we met, a sense of comfort. We’ve built the relationship we have just by being around each other.”

Rashād, 26, is the daughter of actress Phylicia Rashād, of “Cosby Show” fame, and NFL player and sportscaster Ahmad Rashād. She and Bloom have reportedly become inseparable since they began starring in the show.

Rashād was nominated for Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for performance in Stick Fly
