Frankie Valli and Mickey Dolenz, two icons of pop music in the formative years of the ’50s and ’60s, will be honored by Rockers on Broadway in a celebration of five decades of “teen idol” music.

Dolenz and Valli will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards at the organization’s annual benefit show Nov. 17 in New York City.

Legendary DJ ‘Cousin’ Brucie Morrow will receive the “Ambassador of Rock Award,” said Rockers founder Donnie Kehr.

“Teen idols have always been a special kind of rock star,” said Kehr in a statement.

“When their songs came on the radio our hearts skipped a beat. We tacked their photos to our bedroom walls, faithfully watched their TV shows and bought their records.”

“And we might have even written some of them a love note or two… we all had one, he added.

Micky Dolenz will be honored by Rockers on Broadway for his long career in music.
